PONDERS AND WONDERS: The theme for the New Year is PAUSE!! I began on New Years Day reading "The Power of Pause" by Terry Hershey. As always I am again in serious transformation!! Today my parents and I traveled for over 4 hours through the beautiful countryside...The majesty of God was apparent everywhere I looked...of course He is always everywhere but do I PAUSE and take time to see Him, enjoy Him, thank Him, breathe in ALL His goodness....this PAUSE will take time for me to truly "get it". Last year was all about the Sabbath, I now realize that was just the beginning of the new journey....like this week I finally realized that the Lord created the Sabbath for HIM!! Yep not for me to rest up so I can work harder and better the following week...actually it is NOT ABOUT ME....yep I know that in my head, so why do I act otherwise....HE BLESSED IT FOR HIM...and I am invited to the rest....to PAUSE, to experience HIM!! It is going to be a wonderful year...stop and smell the roses before they are in bloom....BIG WONDERFUL SWEET SIGH...love you Jesus
